  • Get up early, take bath, and then take pledge (Sankalp) that you will perform all the rituals with pure heart and utmost devotion

  • Offer Bilva leaves, milk, flowers, and fruits to the Lord
  • Chant the Mantra ‘’Om Namah Shivaya’’
  • Observe Sawan Shivaratri fast and take only fruits, nut, milk, and milk products
  • To fetch maximum blessings, break Sawan Shivratri on the next day i.e, Chaturdashi Tithi
