According to the Vedic astrology, the Nakshatras at position 1,3,5,7 and 9 (odd number) from birth Nakshatra (Sun or Moon) are unfavourable to the native. For Manna Dey, Sun’s transit in the Nakshatras (constellations) ruled by Moon, Rahu, Saturn, Ketu and Venus are not auspicious for him. Today, when he passed away, Sun was in Swati Nakshatra, ruled by Rahu.
