The best period to perform the rituals of Ram Navami is Madhyana or noon period (approx. 2 hours and 24 mins). It is believed that Lord Rama was born in the mid of Madhyana. Chanting of Bhajans and Kirtans in temples reaches to its peak at this time.

Legend of Rama Navami
Lord Rama was the son of King Dashrath of Ayodhya. He had three queens (Kousalya, Sumitra, and Kaikeyi), but not even a single child. The king was very depressed. He organized a special Yagya with a hope of getting blessed with a child. His Yagna paid off and he got Lord Rama (incarnation of Lord Vishnu) as his son, from his wife Kaushalya. He got his son Bharat from Kaikeyi and Laxman & Shatrughan as twins from Sumitra.
Lord Rama killed the demon Ravana and freed the world from his misdeeds. He established Rama Rajya (a period of peace and prosperity) and showed the correct path of life to be followed.
Worship Lord Rama and receive his blessings on the special day of Ram Navami. Happy Ram Navami to you all..!
