The third day of Navratri is dedicated to Devi Chandraghanta, who is the married avatar of Devi Parvati. Special

“ This time, Mata is arriving on a swing. This is not very favorable for the followers; due to this, natural calamities may take place and it may also bring in mutual tension. However, Mata’s departure will take place on elephant, hence, this will bring in pleasant times after Navratri. You should carry on your offerings and rituals even in odd situations. Mata will definitely bless you.”

Shailputri Mata is depicted to ride on a Vrisha (bull). She holds a Trishul (trident) in her right hand, which symbolizes to protect nature from impending dangers and a lotus flower in her left hand.
