Gandhiji's life - Astrological Viewing
Mahatma Gandhi was born on 2nd October 1869 in Porbandar (Gujarat). As per the available information he was born in the morning at 8:36 am. Ascendant is Libra and Lord of the ascendant is Venus, which is posited over ascendant. The best part is - period of Venus crafted the shape of his life. From December 1878 when he was just 9 years old, the effect of Venus started prevailing on him. Important thing is that Venus is the Ascendant Lord as well as the Lord of 8th house. Venus is with Mars and Mars is the lord of 7th house. Also there is influence of Mercury on Venus. Ascendant and ascendant-lord Venus both are under the influence of Pap-Kartri Yoga. Due to all these reasons early life of Mahatma Gandhi was full of ironies. However, formation of Malavya Yoga by ascendant-lord Venus and effect of Jupiter on ascendant as well as ascendant-lord show that he would have more and more fame with the age. And from 1996, embedding his image on Indian rupee got started. During that time he was affected by the period of Ketu in Jupiter. Ketu is in 4th house. It is in the star of tenth-lord Moon and also aspected by Moon. Jupiter is in Sun's star and Moon's sub, therefore this period brought him immense fame. Though he is not physically alive today, he is alive as a respected person and therefore, he will be remembered forever. The present effect is because of Venus which is the lord of first house as well as is the lord of 8th house and is also under the influence of malefic planets. So, with popularity he might also be criticized about the things that come under the signification of Venus.
